Sugar Beach 345E

We stayed in last week of October. The host was easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early. The coffee on the balcony every morning was amazing. We saw dauphins swimming from the kitchen while making breakfast, just a great spot with great views.
The bed was comfortable. There was additional blankets to cover up with while sitting on the balcony every morning.
We loved this place and are already planning on returning next year.

This is our second time staying here and wont be our last. We love this condo. The location, the beach, the balcony .. its just what we need. It’s clean, comfortable and has everything we need. Our only complaint is that the slider to the balcony is a pain to close and open. We couldn’t even lock it half the time. So I do think that needs to be fixed. I did suggest this the last time we stayed (the booking was with a different company) but taller chairs outside would be amazing. You either have to sit totally straight up to look over the balcony rail or slouch way down to look through the bars to look out at the beach and water. Taller chairs would help that and make it more comfortable. We loved the place as always. Will be back.

Pros:
- Good location, beachfront with balcony facing the water
- Good pricing for location and time of year
- Several well maintained pools on the property with easy access to the beach.
Cons:
- Larger rental company, response time on AirBNB was around 24 hours
- Paying for parking was to be available by cash or card as advertised by the host, however upon arrival were informed by the security booth that the credit card machines have been down for 4 days.
- Elevator closest to our room was also out of order. Based on reading other reviews, this could have been the case for at least a month.
Summary: Great overall location, although the complex itself is older compared to its more modern neighbors. Minor inconveniences such as the elevator and cc machine being down not communicated to us, which I think has much to do with the fact that the unit is owned by a larger entity as opposed to an individual who may have had better ears to the ground on building related news.

Within the first 3 hours we couldn’t get into our Condo bc the locks are confusing. You want to use the keypad not the lock on the door but no one to really blame on that (very minor) but then we were rear ended in a rental that started the vacation horrible! However not everything is always going to go right on vacation! Here is what impressed me the most was the customer service we received afterwards. It was absolutely fantastic!!! If you rent with Sugar Beach they have direct numbers you can text or call and they are on TOP of things. The lock was explained and made sense then we were checked on after our wreck and even offered tow truck service or did we need someone to come to the condo for support!!! The view was great and just know if something does happen they WILL do everything in their power to help you and being from way out of state I genuinely appreciated the phone calls and texts we got from their service department. They WILL communicate with you via phone on everything

Sugar Beach Condo was closer to the water than most, maybe becasue it's been there for a while. Most condos are now set back (for good reason) so far you can't hear the waves. Sugar Beach is dated (a lot of updates are going on and planed) but the unit itself was very nice, clean and was perfect for us two. Great location view of the beach. GREAT VALUE!

A very nice condo. Relaxed and was an awesome view from the balcony. I slept on the bottom of the bunk beds, very comfortable. Kitchen very clean all the amenities and more. Best condo we have stayed at..been coming to gulf shores for 4 yrs now and we really enjoyed our vacation and the beautiful condo.
