Great resort! 4th time here

We enjoyed the pool options and being close to the beach. There was a coffee and ice cream shop within walking distance on the complex, however, it was a bit pricey and closed at 8 pm. The Sassy Bass Island Grill is on the complex and has good food options for a night or 2 but seating is limited and warm and crowded indoors. We carried out our last night there and took it back to the room. This is the first place we have been that somehow allowed our beach chairs and umbrellas to sit out on the beach overnight. That was very convenient not having to haul everything back and forth every day, but there were storms and some people left items that ended up getting carried off in the water due to the high surf and waves. There was a very nice family atmosphere and there was room for the kids to run around if needed. The beach didn't seem as crowded as up towards the main strip. Everyone had kids so we were all friendly with one another. The room we stayed in met expectations, however - there was only one smoke detector in the whole room, the flooring had gaps in it that were kind of hard on our feet. There was food on a rug in one of the bedrooms where it wasn't cleaned well. We were given a code for the door, but we didn't know we had to punch the code in to lock it when we left. We thought the door was messed up for the first day then we saw someone else lock theirs. The check-in instructions could include punching the code in to lock the door from the outside also. The fridge kept leaking water from somewhere onto the top shelf and would get everything wet. We did not like how the complex didn't seem to be cleaned very often. The areas where you wash off from the pools and the beach were dirty. People left items sitting and those items were still there after we'd been there a week. There was a box of "take a toy, leave a toy" however it seemed to be kind of a trash box too. The beach had a lot of debris and trash. It was not cleaned like up at Gulf Shores beach. The location is secluded, so if you want to go out to eat then it was about a 20-30 minute drive to the main strip to find something to eat. The plus is that it was secluded and not so noisy. With children that was a plus for them to have room to run around.

Quiet small place, close to the beach. Loved the views and sounds of the ocean from the balcony. Very easy beach access, very nice spot for a weekend getaway!

We did enjoy ourselves but the king bed in the master bedroom was way too big for the room. No room when getting out or in bed by the window.

We had a wonderful time during our week staying here. The location was wonderful and not overcrowded, and having security right at the entrance also made us feel very safe while staying here. The amenities were great and there were multiple outside pools that were very clean and a very nice inside pool and hot tub. The room itself was very spacious and clean. There is also a little closet right when you walk in for beach items which was nice to keep our things in after a long day at the beach. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone to stay at!

It was a really nice get away spot with pickle ball, tennis, tons of board games and basketball courts we used!
A few minor issues but things happen over winter and use and that’s fine.
We had a great time.

We just got home from staying at this location for a week and didn't want to leave. Everything about being here was exactly what my family of 3 needed to be able to relax and recharge. We were able to find the apartment easily thanks to the awesome directions provided by VHC. The apartment was in a great location. It was on the first floor close to the laundry room, stairs, and ice & vending machines. It was also a short walk to one of the pools and also to the beach walk. The apartment itself was great. We were able to make most of our meals there and the beds were so comfortable. The beach is private so it wasn't overcrowded. I went down there at many dig times of day or night and always felt safe. It was so quiet and peaceful all the time. The Plantation staff was very kind and helpful also.
We absolutely loved this location and are already planning a trip back!

Clean, lots of seating, workable kitchen, Accurate pictures! A/C kept at/above 70/71 plenty cool, ceiling fans every room. Extra wet bar area. Main level unit steps from pools and boardwalk to beach! Lots of parking outside unit. Stairs on one end, ramp with carts. WIFI worked well on phones and tablet. Very quiet at night. Family friendly at pools and around complex. Security does rounds. Felt safe. Great indoor and outdoor pools. Beach not crowded, Hoses near pools.
20-30 min drive from town. Open air hallway damp and musty. Small bedrooms, little luggage room. Second bed had another locked exterior door. Few towels and toilet paper for 4 nights. Patio deck slanting off the building. Couch sinks to middle. Tubs slick. Laundry not in unit, coin laundry two doors down.

We absolutely loved the condo. It was perfect for our trip. We were in Gulf Shores for a World Series baseball tournament. On site laundry, full kitchen, comfortable beds were just some of the perks we enjoyed. I also felt very extremely safe while staying there. Located right next to the pool and boardwalk to the beach. Will definitely be staying here again.

This place was exactly as described in the listing. We felt as if the location was perfect & private. It is about 25 minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores. The complex was family friendly and safe. We had a larger group, so our one and only complaint is there were not enough shelves or tables to place our stuff on in the bedrooms. It was still doable, and our group made it work! The pools were nice and the beach area in front of the condo was perfect. The staff were friendly & helpful. Overall, this place was a great place to stay. We would definitely come back for another trip!
